Infiniti Red Bull Racing Donuts on the helipad of Burj Al Arab


Infiniti Red Bull Racing won the 2013 Formula One World Constructors’ Championship, and their driver, Sebastian Vettel, won the World Drivers’ Championship for the fourth year in a row at last weekend’s Indian Grand Prix. The problem is, there are still a few races left in the 2013 season, with the next engagement slated for this weekend in Abu Dhabi.


So, what’s a team that’s already sealed the championship but still has to go racing to do? The correct answer is park a Formula One car on the helipad of the fourth tallest hotel on the planet, some 1,000 feet in the air, and do some donuts, just to celebrate (and without the chance of getting fined).


Red Bull borrowed the helipad of the 1,053-foot Burj Al Arab hotel, in Dubai, and had former F1 driver David Coulthard lay down some rubber. The resulting video is not recommended if you’re afraid of heights. Scroll down for the full clip.
